While we continue working with our third-party service provider, we have implemented a temporary fix for this issue and, based on current observations, the service has resumed normal operations. We will continue to monitor to ensure that the impact has been fully mitigated.
Further investigation revealed that Akamai Control Center is not impacted by this issue. Currently, the impact is limited to Telephony services in North America where customers may experience intermittent call disconnections when calling Akamai Technical Support. Our third-party service provider has identified the cause of the issue, and a fix is being implemented. We are investigating an emerging issue with one of our Service Providers that is impacting Akamai Control Center and Telephony where customers may experience latency/slowness and call disconnections, respectively.
